Owner and Certified Unbridled Equine Coach
Melissa's journey into this work was not a straight line — it was shaped by seasons of transition, questions without immediate answers, and the quiet courage to choose alignment over approval.
She understands the most meaningful growth often rises from lived experience. She knows what it's like to outgrow old identities and stand at the edge of the unknown.
Melissa balance softness with strength. She will sit with you in uncertainty — and gently encourage you forward when you’re ready.
She believes transformation doesn’t need to be dramatic to be powerful.
Caitlyn Blaske
Head Horse Handler
Caitlyn is an expert horsewoman and has ridden since childhood. Pursuing her lifelong dream to work professionally with horses with endless determination, she learned about these majestic animals from everyone and anything she could.
She spent countless hours riding, training hands-on with horses, and reading everything horse-related she could find.
This approach made her the pro she is today, with experience running boarding facilities, training horses, giving riding lessons, and even riding equestrian drill.
With Caitlyn near, you’ll be able to relax and focus on yourself — and your healing.
Dolly
Main Coaching Horse
Dolly is an 18-year-old Paint mare — and the Paint behind Painted Horse Equine Coaching.
She’s cow-bred, sensitive, and deeply attuned to the energy around her. The very traits that make her a responsive and thoughtful horse also make her an incredible partner in this work.
Dolly doesn’t respond to pressure or performance.
She responds to honesty.
Because Dolly is sensitive, she notices the things we often miss — subtle tension, mixed signals, the difference between what we say and what we actually feel. She offers immediate, honest, gentle feedback.
Our vision is to build a place where anyone — whether they ride or not — can benefit from the hope and healing horses provide. We work closely with our amazing group of coaching horses (and ponies!) to create a safe, empathetic space where we work together to help clients break patterns, move forward, and unlock their potential.
